• Provides support to underwriting operations for existing and prospective agents and policyholders by monitoring and analyzing applications for insurance and other service requests.
• Acts within assigned limits of authority.
• Provides technical expertise related to workflows, system development, profitable growth opportunities or other program analysis by performing the following duties.
• Application has superior product knowledge and is familiar with the specific products offered by the Agency's carriers. 
• Assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities.
• For non-program business, will market new and renewal accounts with appropriate carriers.
• For non-program business, will request proposals from carriers, binders and binding and of policies and endorsements to be issued by the carrier.
• For program business, will underwrite new and renewal accounts in accordance with Underwriting Program Guidelines.
• For program business, will solicit, evaluate, underwrite, rate, quote, bind, bill and issue policies and endorsements on behalf of carrier.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• New Jersey P&C License required.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
