Egis Insurance & Risk Advisors, an Accretive Company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will report to the Controller and provide general accounting functions, prepare financial statements, analysis of various reports, and more.

• Account analysis and reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts
• Monthly financial statement close work completed in accordance with closing schedule; analyze monthly financials to ensure information has been recorded accurately.
• Analyze accounting problems, evaluate information, identify key issues that need to be addressed and develop courses of action that effectively address the issue at hand. 
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiencies and drive projects to completion; maintain a well-organized financial data and document warehouse.
• Active participation and contribution in the annual fiscal budget process and financial projections throughout fiscal year; utilize budget software to create budgets and forecasts; provide analysis and project future results.
• Take the lead in coordination of accounts payable month closing process, handling accounting issues and answering accounting questions for team & management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field of study), required.
• 3+ years of full-time related experience and/or training, required. 
• Strong mathematical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel
• Multitasking/organizational/time-management skills 
• Experience with Quickbooks and AMS-360 preferred.
