Professional Enrollment Concepts (PEC) has an exciting career opportunity for an Account Manager in our Houston office. The Account Manager serves as primary contact for multiple clients and is responsible for conducting conference calls, responding to client inquiries in a timely manner, and managing client expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as primary contact for multiple clients and is responsible for conducting conference calls, responding to client inquiries in a timely manner, and managing client expectations.
  • Develops effective solutions to participant issues and effectively communicates them to the client in both verbal and written formats with minimal guidance.
  • Partners with members of the Implementation, Data, and Customer Communication departments to address specific operational inquires and challenges.
  • Performs root cause analysis and determines escalation approach for transactional errors and escalations with minimal guidance.
  • Works well in a metrics-driven environment, with an emphasis on efficiency and individual production.
  • Consistently complies with applicable policies and procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Initiates ongoing and enhanced usage of key service features to promote client education and satisfaction with minimal guidance.
  • Assist Implementation and staff with the successful implementation of new cases (documentation in writing on processes and procedures specific to client).
  • Ensure Benefit Guides are completed to spec based on business requirement document.
  • Create and update business requirement documents for client benefit changes or renewals.
  • Deliver product trainings and presentations to Clients and Broker’s as needed regarding systemic (e.g. Selerix) and procedural items (New hires) with minimal guidance.
  • Shares advanced knowledge of existing and emerging tools/systems Monitors all assigned cases monthly account receivables are in good standing and posted accordingly with minimal guidance (e.g. remittance file received, and premium posted).

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the employee benefits industry preferred.
  • High Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word required.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and strong conflict resolution abilities.
  • Superb time management and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated analytic abilities.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines.
