Overview

Assist clients with eligibility reporting, billing, financial transactions, and Over Age Dependent tracking.

 

Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

What You'll Do

  • Administer all manual eligibility adds, changes, and terminations within the required service level agreement.
  • Process reports from inbound and outbound electronic eligibility files within the required service agreement.
  • Follow-up on eligibility questions from approvers and clients.
  • Review 834 error reports and enter adds, changes, terminations, and re-in statements within the required service level.
  • Review Web enrollments and import into claims processing system within the required service level.
  • Over Aged Dependent report and letters for Over Age dependents for applicable client.
  • Process Over Aged Dependent’s / Disabled Dependents eligibility when response is obtained from approver, client, and or the carrier.
  • Train new assistants, assure quality assurance and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide Customer Service on eligibility to approvers, client, carrier, and prescription vendors within the required service level agreement.
  • Resolve Eligibility CRMs within the designated service level agreement.
  • Maintain Eligibility PG Report for assigned clients.
  • Research and resolve Accumulator Load Report eligibility discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve daily Audit Report, HCID Report, Coverage Level Mismatch Report, Alt ID Reports.
  • Research and resolve weekly Carrier Discrepancy Report.
  • Process eligibility for current year change reports.

 

ACCOUNTING

  • Researching and resolving the monthly billing adjustment report.
  • Validate the final bill for accuracy.
  • Provide supporting documentation to accounting.
  • Deliver monthly administration invoice to client.
  • Create check requests for vendor billings.
  • Follow up with client if payment is outstanding.
  • Research and resolve Billing Disputes.
  • Reconcile and Posting Payments into Billing System.
  • Deliver billing documentation to carriers on request.

 

STOP LOSS REPORTING

  • Provide necessary Eligibility/COBRA documentation to Reinsurance Specialist when requested.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a customer service environment with Eligibility and Benefits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year  experience in health insurance or TPA preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

 

The target salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Remote work environment flexibility but must be willing to travel occasionally.
