Breckenridge Insurance has an exciting career opportunity for a Brokerage Assistant. The Brokerage Assistant is responsible for assisting the Producer(s) in executing growth and profit initiatives by collecting and documenting information and providing exemplary administrative support.

• Assist Broker with the day to day technical and daily management of accounts including administrative issues, renewals and client requests.
• Assist in the preparation of new and renewal binders and invoices.
• Enter new and renewal account information in automated systems.
• Request information, as needed, to prepare thorough submissions for marketing in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Process endorsements, including reviewing endorsement requests for applicability, sending requests to carrier, receiving and reviewing completed endorsement, recording information in automated. systems and sending completed endorsement to customer.
• Review policies, endorsements, and other account activity for accuracy.
• Processes affidavit filings as required and directed.
• Understand and adhere to state tax requirements.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the insurance industry through continuing education, self-study, and seminar attendance.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Property and Casualty License required (or ability to obtain P&C License within 60 days of employment).
• Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
• Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is $43,000.00 to $47,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location
