• Oversee the accounts payable department (3 to 4 employees), ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Manage AP operational processes across multiple entities/agencies.
• Manage the preparation and filing of 1099 forms, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
• Handle W9 form collection and verification, maintaining accurate vendor records.
• Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights to senior management.
• Supervise and mentor accounts payable staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to accounts payable and tax reporting.
• Other duties as required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of 1099 and W9 processing and IRS regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
