Overview

The Contracts and Billing manager will manage the contracts, billings, case assignments & service completions for the entire department.

 

Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

What You'll Do

  • Utilizing, managing, updating, maintaining, and providing recommendations for improvement on our contract & project management software (Salesforce or similar).
  • Formatting and reviewing final contract/RFP proposals/agreements and uploading them into our contract management software.
  • Tracking contract status/completions/renewals, working with other Loss Control Managers, IST and AE teams to ensure all contracted business is being managed by the responsible party.
  • Generating invoices and tracking payments.
  • Generating & distributing reports for contract completion tracking, client time percentages, revenue status, new business, missed opportunities, late assignments, etc.
  • Assigning & tracking claim related ergonomic evaluations/and other claim related services
  • Constantly re-evaluating the methods behind these activities to look for ways to make them more efficient as well as more evaluable.
  • Standardizing the way these activities are performed, ultimately automating as much of it as possible to reduce the potential for human error on these critical functions
  • Accurately identify and track time spent on services Loss Control is providing where funding is limited and/or non-existent (Super Pools, consultant travel time, requests for “free” services, etc).
  • Standardizing and automating the billing/invoicing process for all loss control revenue sources
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years of related contracts and billing experience is required. 
  • Field experience in the loss control/risk management/insurance industry is preferred.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, the ability to work independently with minimal direction and have extremely strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are essential. 
  • Must be an extremely effective organizer, planner, and self-starter.
  • Must be able to adapt to change and be a team player. 
  • Logical and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Salesforce, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) expereince.

Compensation:

 

The target salary range for this position is $69,000.00 to $80,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Hybrid work environment flexibility.
