As a Medicare Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing a team of Medicare Consultants. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and developing your team, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the achievement of sales goals. This is a full-time, remote position that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Medicare regulations and the sales process. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of 10-12 Medicare Consultants, providing coaching, training, and ongoing support to ensure high performance and productivity. 
  • Set clear sales goals and performance expectations for the team and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.  
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales volume, customer satisfaction, and overall team success.  
  • Monitor and manage team performance metrics, such as conversion rates, call handle time, and customer satisfaction scores.  
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and company policies by conducting regular audits and providing training as needed.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including recruitment, and sales operations, to optimize team performance and enhance processes.  
  • Stay updated on changes in Medicare regulations and industry trends to ensure team members are well-informed and able to provide accurate information to customers

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the Medicare or insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations, plan options, and sales processes. 
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving team success.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications are preferred but not required. 

Physical Security of Workspace

  • Private, Dedicated Area: The workspace should be in a private, quiet location where family members or others cannot overhear conversations or access PHI. This could be a dedicated room with a door that can be closed.
  • Restricted Access: Ensure no unauthorized individuals (family members, visitors) have access to workstations or PHI.
  • Positioning of Screens: Ensure that computer screens are positioned so that they cannot be viewed by unauthorized individuals from doors or windows.
  • Screen Privacy: If necessary, use screen privacy filters to prevent someone from seeing the screen over the agent's shoulder, especially if others are in the same home or if the workspace has windows.
  • Any physical documents containing PHI should be stored in locked cabinets when not in use. For digital files, secure the device with encryption.
