Professional Enrollment Concepts (PEC) has an exciting career opportunity for an Associate Account Executive. Associate Account Executives are assigned to a book of business and responsible for obtaining clients’ trust by meeting their needs and expectations. Account Managers serve as an advocate to our clients and their employees through positive relationships with various carriers and continuous education.

What You'll Do

  • Gathers the necessary information regarding new/existing accounts and submits this information to the various and appropriate internal departments for implementation.
  • Implement and prepare all benefit offerings utilizing a business required workbook.
  • Ensure accuracy of all open enrollment materials i.e. benefits guides, systems administration, and reporting to client.
  • Attend renewals meetings with broker and client to establish expectations and benefit offerings.
  • Develops and maintains a positive relationship and rapport with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients' needs and facilitate the process of business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, preferred but not required.
  • Minimum two to four years of experience in employee benefit account management preferred.
  • Life and Health Insurance licensed preferred, not required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an extreme attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking skills with ability to use logic and reasoning to identify deficiencies or other concerns.
  • Exception communication skills, both in verbal and written word, necessary to communicate with clients, brokers, carriers, and prospects concerning employee benefit lines of coverage.
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.

Compensation:

 

The target salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
