Overview

EM Benefits has an exciting career opportunity for an Existing Business Coordinator. The Existing Business Coordinator will assist in maintaining broker relations by servicing existing business accounts in a team environment. This individual will also process eligibility changes, assist with billing inquires, assist with claim inquiries, etc.. Provide customer service to clients, brokers, and marketing representatives.

What You'll Do

  • Process and follow-up on existing business inquiries.
  • Pursue and develop good working relationships with carrier and broker/client.
  • Maintain workflow to meet the goals established by management.
  • Maintain and service existing clients (brokers, groups, and members) by providing guidance on issues that arise. I.e., eligibility issues, invoices inquiries, procedures, benefits, etc.
  • Verify and process applications in accordance with established procedures to ensure accurate billings.
  • Obtain necessary information for enrollment to maintain accurate membership record and provide confirmations in writing to client on new additions and changed memberships.
  •  Communicate any unusual situation to marketing representative that developed with broker or client.
  •  Responsible to work together as a team with the Marketing Representative and Team Lead so we can assist brokers and clients.
  •  Enter new groups in EM Connect Database
  •  Enter Production in Salesforce
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

 

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • General data entry skills required.
  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software required.
  • Insurance background preferred.
  • Excellent phone personality and ability to deal with people.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise letters required.

Compensation:

 

The target salary range for this position is $37,500 to $52,000 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
