• Complete on-line data entry and issuance of new and renewal policies and endorsements using automated systems.
• Distribute new and renewal policies and endorsements via email or US mail.
• Achieve and maintain proficiency with on-line systems and individual carrier websites.
• Review and prepare incoming new business submissions.
• Process and distribute endorsement requests.
• Complete notices of cancellation and reinstatements.
• Meet or exceed policy issuance and endorsement processing standards.
• Process daily mail.
• Provide administrative support as needed including filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain workflow within company standards.
• Understand and adhere to state tax requirements.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the insurance industry through continuing education, self-study, and seminar attendance.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

• Associate’s degree in related field and one year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General data entry skills required.
• Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software required.
• Insurance background preferred.
• This is an entry-level position which may require considerable training to become proficient.
