Overview

As a Loss Control Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing consultative and analytical services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and developing strategies to reduce risks and
exposures through on-site evaluations and data-driven assessments. You will participate in claims
reviews, collaborate with producers and attorneys, and help ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our loss control programs.  Success in this role requires a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct on-site risk evaluations and loss control inspections for commercial insurance clients.
  • Analyze exposures, operations, and prior losses to develop customized risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with producers, claims teams, and legal advisors to align services with client needs
  • Participate in claims reviews and identify trends or recurring hazards that may require
    intervention.
  • Assist with the development, monitoring, and reporting of loss control programs and enrollment
    compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Deliver consultative support and training to clients on safety practices, regulatory compliance, and
    loss prevention techniques.
  • Remain informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact
    clients.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• 1–3 years of experience in loss control or risk management
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field preferred (relevant experience may be
considered in lieu of degree)
• Familiarity with automobile, general liability, property, and workers' compensation lines is a plus,
though not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and related tools
• Valid driver’s license required
• Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory
• OSHA 30-Hour certification completed or to be obtained within 6 months
• Proven ability to work independently and travel as needed
